Black History & Cultural Heritage Museum began as an incubator project of Joyner Payne Community Services, Inc., a grassroots pioneer organization dedicated to building a physical museum for educating, mentoring and preparing younger generations emerging from the South Bay Area region. Our goals are to acknowledge progressive people, their contributions and legacies, as motivating and uplifting resources, for those sincerely seeking information to enrich cross cultural awareness and consciously embrace the African diaspora. To accomplish our goals, our approach to presenting true historical facts, fundamental issues must be realized and accepted, in order to overcome the deep psychological conditioning that continues to stifle legitimate diversity in America.
BH-museum.org is our virtual approach to introducing a balanced museum concept to communities within our target region. Our intentions are to join the efforts of educational institutions, local municipalities and grassroots community service agencies in addressing long-standing human issues throughout our target region, by providing alternative relevant information resources and services. BH-museum.org also serves as a major fundraiser for the completion of our planned physical location, currently under construction in San Jose, California. We invite all to participate and help make this venture successful!
